perch. summer table

Doing a tablescape for a store display is different than doing one at home. You only have things that are inventory in stock that are being sold to work with, rather than a collection of china, silverware, glassware, and linens everyone puts together for their home entertaining.

So here at perch, we are inspired by what we have. We had a custom tablecloth made using a pale green burlap with a wide vintage trim for the bottom border. A separate flannel underskirt the same size as the tablecloth, gives it a nice hand.

We pulled every white item we have into the tablescape: white pottery Fortunata plates; white ceramic sea shells; white fleur di lis cups to use as votive candle holders; white flower tube vases that look like sea creatures. We added accents of silver using fleur di lis flatware, and metal silver eggs.

A set of six vintage cane back Louis style chairs with burlap seats play off the texture of the tablecloth.

Hi, that table looks quite intesting. It is elegant with the silver and glass and has modern interesting accents with the complemntary black lustre over the table and the seashells. And this modern forms are looking like corals. I like the tablecloth for this table, too.
Greetings, Johanna
