gorgeous green silk chairs

Look at this beautiful Louis style chair all done up in green silk!

It started out as our humble Louis chair that we call a blank canvas. The chair is wonderful to use as is, but it is perfect to customize. You can get it at the shop, or on our web site HERE

Jack chose the perfect shade of green to paint the frame.

And he chose the silk from Vervain to recover the basic muslin seat and back. We sent the chairs out to our workroom to have the professional upholstery job done.

We think the chairs came out beautifully and look especially fabulous sitting in front of the custom made screen we had made for Art in Bloom.

There is a pair, and we can make more if you so desire. Each chair is $700.

Here's his living room - and what does he have but a beautiful daybed, upholstered in Kravet Velvet (Pattern 29758, Color 1511).
The daybed comes with four pillows, and Jack has added a stripe velvet in a fabric by Vervain. The daybed is called The Carlton Daybed, and we sell it at perch. (it's on the web site too).


Caroline loves velvet too, and recently upholstered this pretty settee in her living room in a green velvet (called Cactus), by Vervain.


And don't you love the pillow she added in a toile by Brunschwig and Fils.


We have a fantastically comfortable Barlclay Buttera sofa in the shop, that we upholstered in Kravet Velvet (Pattern 29385, Color 106).
Jack did oversize custom velvet pillows: The green is Casaro, and the pink stripe is Vervain.


The velvets we have chosen wear exceptionally well, and are so soft to the touch.
