It's just a couple of more weeks until the royal wedding of Kate and William, and tea parties and luncheons are being planned in full force. Are you ready?
Wouldn't it be fun to invite a few friends over to celebrate? One customer told us she is planning a luncheon, and her husband is going to dress up and play the butler to her guests!

In honor of the royal wedding. perch. has set a table to inspire you. We started by painting a drop cloth with wide red and blue stripes to get the gestalt of the Union Jack without being too literal.
We got the idea from Katiedid HERE. Go on over for the complete 411 on and the DIY! Thanks Katie!

We gathered every red, white, and blue thing we had in the shop, and added the cute gold king and queen crowns we carry.

White flowers fit nicely into the queen's crown, and we added another flower on top of the candelabra with the festive blue candles.

Red melamine plates, and fleur di lys flatware look fun and regal, and the pale blue tea cups add a romantic English element. Etched glassware is pretty, and there is a set of vintage glasses with a gilded royal crest.

So look around your house, and get all your red, whote, and blue sutff together, and have a party to celebrate the royal wedding!

AW!!!! I just LOVE it! Every detail is fantastic. And thank you so much for the shout out on the painted tablecloth. Yours looks so great with the two colors....I may have to try that.
Bravo, wonderful table and as a transplanted Brit I rather like it alot! I think I am going to have to do a English table soon in honor of the wedding too. Fun!
Lovely blog too, I am sure I will be back,
Linda
What a greatly inspired and regal tablesetting! Very nice! Love the crowns and the flowers on each plate,
and the painted tablecloth.
Refreshingly different and enjoyable
Blessings, Nellie
Wonderful table and, as I'm English, I really appreciate it. The tension is mounting in the UK ready for the wedding and the Prince has given everyone Fri and Sat off and he is encouraging street parties to celebrate... when I talk to my friends over there they fondly refer to it as "the wedding" as if they are personally invited. I love it! I also cannot wait to see Kate's dress!!!
I love your English wedding table!
I donât usually reply to posts but I will in this case.
