So, we blushed a little when she used a photo of our funky display of flipped over & sideways Kartell chairs round our vintage red Chinoiserie high boy on her New Year's Eve blog.
Beth is designer extraordinaire and knows Chinoiserie-style design better than anyone.

When asked about the best and worst trends in design not long ago by writer Emily Leaman for the Washingtonian, Beth said, “The best is chinoiserie, of course. Timeless and elegant as well as very chic and stylish, it gives instant character to any room. The worst is this depressing gray Belgian look. I would have to be medicated if I lived in a house decorated like that. Please make it go away.” Read the whole article here.

Beth is amazing. She has an incredible eye, a plethora of Chinoiserie knowledge and is a genuinely lovely lady to boot. And I agree with her about the dismal gray Belgian look!
