post Isaac - a little bruised but no worse for the wear

we're open!  we are very grateful to have been spared any major damage from Isaac!  one of the great things about perch being housed in a 150 year old building is that she's weathered many storms.  many of our neighbors are STILL without power but electrical crews are working around the clock to get power back on!

pre-Isaac we took preparations to protect the windows...

perch all buttoned up before the storm

and post Isaac there was a lot of debris to clean up...

the street kitty (we named "purrrch") seemed unphased post hurricane.

and on the inside, it's as nothing ever happened... here's a peak inside.

vintage chopping block with original sloping top and drawer with ample space for storing cooking utensils.

adorable chick light.
bright orange fish tapestry and asian figurine
a collection of fabulous pillows sit a top our cool tweed sofa.  We love these new ottomans with the fabulous scalloped shape
