One of our very favorites is Amie Corley, designer extraordinaire (originally from New Orleans) now in St. Louis, MO.   

We were ecstatic to see the feature on her in the May issue of Southern Living.

We were especially delighted that a favorite piece of hers which she purchased from our perch. papillion collection was displayed so prominently in the issue!

our boy turns three with his favorite things from Pa-ree

Our now three year old has an obsession with the Eiffel Tower that we can't quite explain, so for his birthday this year, we took that theme and ran with it!

Our very talented friend New Orleans Chef Michael Saxer prepared an assortment of French delicacies including canapés, quiches, crabmeat crepes and peanut butter and jelly on croissants for les enfants!  

Tres delicious!

Our good friend Suyapa can make cakes in the shape of ANYTHING, handbags, shoes, and now she's realized - THE EIFFEL TOWER!

Of course, no French themed birthday party is complete without macaroons from Sucre.

The kids all enjoyed a magic show by New Orleans magician Nathan Kepner & Morgan Zsu-Ran from Carl Mack.

Our petite chien Camellia even had a ball with her buddies from the neighborhood!

We're delighted to have a new shipment of great furniture finds at perch.!  Including this adorable cabinet from the 1930's.

It's painted on the outside in a gorgeous shade of aqua blue...

and on the inside, it's painted a cheery glossy yellow.
